Sobre esta ferramenta
Meta tags sit in a page's head and tell search engines and social platforms how to describe it. Two of them do almost all the work. The title tag is the clickable headline in search results and the strongest on-page signal you control - Google renders roughly 60 characters of it, so anything past that is truncated and effectively wasted. The meta description does not affect ranking directly, but it is the sales pitch under the title, and a good one materially improves click-through on a position you already hold; about 155 characters is the usable budget. Everything else is supporting: the viewport tag for mobile rendering, charset for encoding, robots directives for indexing control. One tag deserves a plain warning - meta keywords has been ignored by Google since 2009 and by every other major engine since. Filling it in does nothing at all. This tool generates correct syntax from form fields, in your browser.

Como usar esta ferramenta
- Write your titleLead with what the page actually offers, keep it near 60 characters, and put the distinctive words first in case it truncates.
- Write your descriptionAround 155 characters describing what someone gets by clicking. This is a pitch to a human, not a keyword slot.
- Set the technical tagsViewport and charset belong on every page. Add robots directives only when you genuinely want to control indexing.
- Copy the generated HTML into your headPaste it inside the head element, before the closing tag. Then check it renders by viewing the page source.
Por que usar
- Produces correct syntax, so a typo in a tag name does not silently do nothing.
- Character counts as you type, so titles and descriptions land inside what search engines actually display.
- Covers the technical tags that are easy to forget - viewport, charset, robots.
- Runs in your browser with no account.
- Output is plain HTML you can paste into any site, framework or CMS.
Usos comuns
- Adding proper meta tags to a new page before it is published.
- Fixing pages that share one generic site-wide title and description.
- Rewriting descriptions on pages with high impressions but low click-through.
- Setting a noindex directive on a page that should stay out of search results.
- Producing tags for a static site or landing page with no CMS to manage them.
Dicas para melhores resultados
- Every page needs its own title and description. Duplicated tags across a site are one of the most common and most damaging SEO problems.
- Front-load the title. If it truncates, the words at the start are the ones that survived.
- Write the description for a human deciding whether to click, not for a crawler counting keywords.
- Skip meta keywords entirely. No major search engine has used it in over fifteen years.
- Open Graph and Twitter Card tags are separate and control social previews - use those dedicated generators alongside this one.
Erros a evitar
- Reusing the same title and description across many pages, which makes them compete with each other.
- Writing titles over 60 characters so the important part is cut off in results.
- Stuffing keywords into the description, which reads badly and does not help ranking.
- Filling in meta keywords and believing it does something.
- Adding a noindex tag to a page you want indexed - a small mistake with a total effect.
- Placing meta tags outside the head element, where they are ignored.

Perguntas frequentes
Fill in the fields above - title, description and any technical tags - and copy the generated HTML into your page's head section.
Yes. No account and no limit, and everything runs in your browser.
Around 60 characters. Google truncates by pixel width rather than a fixed count, so treat 60 as a guide and put the most important words first in case it cuts off.
About 155 characters. It does not affect ranking directly, but it is what persuades someone to click, so a well-written one improves traffic at the same position.
No. Google stopped using it in 2009 and other major engines followed. Filling it in has no effect whatsoever - the time is better spent on the title and description.
Inside the head element of your page, before it closes. Meta tags placed in the body are ignored.
If you want good previews when links are shared, yes - they are separate tags with their own fields. The Open Graph Generator and Twitter Card Generator handle those.
Because Google rewrites descriptions when it thinks a different snippet better matches the search. That is normal and often beneficial - a well-written description is still used most of the time.
