IRS standard mileage rates. Official rates. Keep receipts. This is not tax advice. Tiered rates (HMRC, CRA, NZ) use running yearly distance, not a fresh band per trip.

Acerca de esta herramienta

Business mileage is claimed at a cents-per-mile or pence-per-mile rate rather than by saving every fuel receipt. The IRS publishes a standard mileage rate for the United States, HMRC publishes approved mileage allowance payments for the UK, and the ATO publishes cents-per-kilometre rates in Australia. This log lets you add trips, pick the matching official-style rate, and download a CSV for your accountant. Rates are simplified annual presets - your tax office may publish mid-year updates.

HMRC approved mileage allowance payments are typically 45p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles in a tax year and 25p thereafter for cars. The preset follows that structure.

Yes. Choose the ATO cents-per-kilometre method. Enter kilometres, not miles. The ATO also caps the number of kilometres you can claim this way.

A contemporaneous log is what auditors ask for. Keep the CSV and, where required, fuel or parking receipts as well.

No. Trips stay in this tab until you export. Nothing is uploaded to ToolBox.
