Monster Battle
Every letter you type makes Milo throw a stone: right letter = hit, wrong letter = miss. The monster attacks when its meter fills.

Each hit knocks the monster's attack meter back, so fast typing is also your shield. Combos add up to double damage.
About this tool
Typing Booster turns typing practice into two cartoon games. In Monster Battle, Milo the monkey (aviator goggles, red bandana, a pile of stones) faces a monster with a health bar. Every letter you type makes Milo throw a stone: a right letter hits, a wrong letter misses, and finishing a word throws a big stone for bonus damage. The monster charges an attack meter while you type. Each hit knocks the meter back, so typing fast is also your defence. Each level is a step up a typing-course ladder: home row, top row, bottom row, longer words, capitals, punctuation and finally whole sentences. Every new monster also has more health and attacks faster. In Car Race every correct letter pushes your car down the track against four rival cars that drive at fixed typing speeds. Type fast and clean and you pull ahead; slow down and you watch them overtake you. Everything runs in your browser, with no account and nothing uploaded.

Key features
- Instant visual feedback: a stone that hits or misses for every single letter, and a car that moves exactly as far as you have typed correctly.
- A lesson ladder like a typing course: home row first, then the top and bottom rows, longer words, capitals, punctuation and sentences.
- Every level is harder than the last: more monster health, a faster attack and the next lesson. Eight creatures (goblin, golem, wolf, wyvern and more) take turns.
- Combos reward clean streaks with up to double damage, which pushes accuracy as well as speed.
- Rival cars drive at fixed typing speeds for each difficulty, so a win means you really typed faster than that speed.
- Works with a physical keyboard or a phone keyboard, and in full screen.
- No signup, no ads inside the game, and nothing you type leaves your browser.
Common uses
- A fun typing warm-up for kids who find plain typing drills boring.
- Classroom typing practice where the race place gives a clear goal.
- Practising accuracy, because one typo costs a whole Battle word.
- A quick break game that still builds keyboard skills.
Tips for better results
- In Monster Battle, do not rush into typos: a miss deals no damage and resets your combo, which is worth up to double damage.
- Watch the small orange bar under the monster's health. When it is almost full, finish a word quickly to knock it back.
- In Monster Battle, capitals and punctuation count from the Capital letters lesson on. Car Race ignores upper and lower case, but punctuation and spaces count. Keep your eyes on the underlined letter, not on your hands.
- If you win easily on Normal, try Hard: the fastest rival types at about 80 WPM.
Mistakes to avoid
- Holding Backspace to fix a typo. Backspace is turned off: just type the correct key - in Battle the wrong letter has already missed, and in the Race the car waits for the right key.
- Typing while the scene is not selected. If letters stop appearing, click or tap the scene to bring the keyboard back.
- Comparing a Battle WPM with a Race WPM. Battle words are short and separate, so the two numbers are not directly comparable.
Frequently asked questions
Type the word shown at the top of the scene. Every right letter makes Milo throw a stone that hits, and the last letter of a word throws a big stone with bonus damage. A wrong letter throws a stone that misses and breaks your combo; you stay on that letter until you type it correctly.
Its attack meter fills on a timer. When it is full the monster throws a fireball and you lose a heart. Every hit you land knocks the meter back by about a third, so fast typing also protects you. The game ends when your hearts run out.
Yes. Each level raises the monster's health by about 27%, makes its attack about 8% faster, and moves you to the next lesson: home row, top row, bottom row, common words, longer words, long words, capital letters, punctuation and numbers, short phrases, then sentences.
On Easy they type at roughly 16 to 33 WPM, on Normal 28 to 52 WPM, and on Hard 46 to 80 WPM. Each car speeds up and slows down slightly so the order changes during the race.
Correct characters divided by five (the standard word length in typing tests), divided by the minutes you spent playing. Paused time is not counted.
Yes. Tap the scene to open the on-screen keyboard. A physical keyboard is faster and gives more representative speeds.
Yes. The monsters are fantasy creatures with no gore, the first lessons use simple home-row words, and Easy mode gives plenty of time. There is no chat, no account and no data collection.
