- Take a screenshotClick Take Screenshot, pick a screen, window or tab when the browser asks, then drag to select a region. Enter or double-click confirms; Esc cancels. You can also upload, paste (Ctrl+V) or drop an image.

- Hold Shift while drawing lines and arrows to keep them straight.
- Spacebar temporarily pans the canvas; Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z undo and redo.
- Use Copy when you want to paste immediately - no download required.
- OCR and background removal download models on first use, then cache locally.
- Resize the selection with the blue handles before confirming if the first drag was off.
Mistakes to avoid
- Expecting capture without the browser permission prompt - you must choose a screen or window each time.
- Saving JPG when you need transparency after background removal - use PNG instead.
- Drawing tiny selections that crop to almost nothing; aim for at least a few pixels.
- Assuming face blur is a certified face detector - it is a privacy assist based on skin-tone regions.
- Closing the tab mid-edit and expecting the in-memory library to survive - session storage is in-memory only.
